For Stewart Milne Construction, Health and Safety is No1 among our priorities. We rigorously implement our policies and procedures and ensure that all sites, locations and operations are subject of regular inspection and audit. We however back this up with comprehensive training of all managers and staff and through the support provided at all levels by our fully qualified Health ands safety specialists.

We are accredited to OHSAS 18001: 1999, our fully documented policies are regularly reviewed and our H&S management system includes full involvement of employee representatives drawn from all parts of the company. Our performance in this area is a key KPI and our objective is quite simply – zero accidents in the workplace.

We have recently achieved Platinum level in the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS).  This award, which represents the ultimate standard in health & safety competence within the construction industry, demonstrates Stewart Milne's commitment to providing a safe environment to not only our staff but all those affected by our operations.

Stewart Milne Group holds valid certificates with both Constructionline and CHAS.  We have achieved these accreditations following a rigorous assessment, which gives confidence to our clients that we have in place the correct health & safety procedures, financial standing and technical ability to undertake works on their behalf.
