Managing Director

Bill joined Stewart Milne Construction in 1982 and worked at various project and management levels before becoming Managing Director in 2001.

Bill holds a BSc in Quantity Surveying and, as well as his varied experience with us, has worked with other major contractors and in the public sector.


Lesley Barrie

Finance Director

After graduating with an Honours Degree in Business Studies in 1995, Lesley qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1998 and spent six years in private practice, where she became a partner in a local Aberdeen firm. This gave Lesley the opportunity to work with a wide and varied range of businesses in an advisory capacity.

Lesley left practice in 2004 to become Group Finance Manager/Company Secretary at Stewart Milne Group Limited. In February 2007 she was appointed Finance Director of Stewart Milne Construction.

Noel Staunton

Noel Staunton

Regional Director South

With an HND in Construction Management and a strong background in the sector, Noel is responsible for the day-to-day running of our operations from Perthshire to the central belt.

As well as having an overview of all projects on site he is often directly involved in meetings with clients and prospective clients and is ever interested in discussing new opportunities for our business. Working closely with the Divisional board, Noel continues to develop SMC’s resources, scope and involvement in the area.


Derek Anderson

Business Development Director

Derek is responsible for our estimating, buying and surveying functions, with a primary role in securing new business in all market sectors, particularly in the preparation of comprehensive packages through design and build, negotiation and partnering. As such, Derek will be a key contact in the early discussions regarding your project.


 

Les Henderson

Les Henderson

Business Development Manager, North

Les will often be the first point of contact to discuss your project in the North, whatever its type. He has many years experience with us, and will be able to advise on any aspect of the services we provide. Les will ensure you receive a prompt and appropriate response.

 

Doug McCusker

Dougie McCusker

Business Development Manager, South

After graduating from University, Dougie spent 15 years with a major national contractor before joining Stewart Milne Construction in 2006 to look after the business in the Tayside area.

Dougie is now responsible for Business Generation in the central belt and operates from our office in Aucherarder. With over 20 years of experience in the UK construction market, Dougie looks after all new opportunities, whether tendered or negotiated with a pro-active approach focused on working closely with clients and their teams to meet their objectives.
