One of the UK’s leading independent housebuilding, construction and development companies, Stewart Milne Group, is celebrating its Construction and Timber systems divisions scooping two top industry awards. At the prestigious Homes for Scotland Quality Awards in Edinburgh, Stewart Milne Construction received the Best Affordable Housing Development prize for Phase 2 of the regeneration project at Muirton, Perth. The award highlights the company’s expertise in the area of social housing and its ability to form strong working relationships with clients to produce effective results. Meanwhile, at the NHBC Health and Safety Awards in Birmingham, operations director of Stewart Milne Timber Systems, David Nimmo, picked up the top award in the industry body’s coveted Special Award categories. David was declared joint winner of the Best Industry Health and Safety Leader award which recognises senior managers and directors in their demonstration of top-level commitment to health and safety, and how this translates to tangible results.
